Ritual Cleansing

Tsu's friend Auraga prepares herself to join the Grove of Elders.

Here, she's sitting with the "ghost/spirit of the forest" (aka the shaman's crenellated rag-jaw). Since it looks a little like a cross between a fern and a lizard, the Qii consider this species of rag-jaw to be partway between the different kingdoms, and hold it as a sacred creature, and a link to the Grove of Elders. (It's not ACTUALLY part plant, and it has no special powers. It's just a scaly, grumpy lizard-like mammal like all the other species in its family.)

Slightly scribbly, needs reworking. Pencil on paper, scanned and laser-printed onto papyrus-print paper, then coloured in marker.
